Refund Policy

We want every user to try VPNCheap with confidence. To protect your rights and keep the service running fairly, please read this refund policy carefully before purchasing.

1. 7-Day No-Questions-Asked Refund

Within 7 calendar days of your first purchase, and provided the account has used no more than 2 GB of traffic in total, you may request a refund for any reason without giving an explanation.

Once approved, a payment-channel fee of 20% of the amount actually paid is deducted, so the refund is 80% of the amount actually paid.

2. Refunds Between 7 and 30 Days

Orders older than 7 calendar days but not older than 30 calendar days, on accounts that have used no more than 2 GB of traffic in total, are still eligible for a refund.

Once approved, a payment-channel fee of 30% of the amount actually paid is deducted, so the refund is 70% of the amount actually paid.

These fees are the charges incurred from payment institutions or payment channels during the refund process.

3. Cases Not Eligible for a Refund

VPNCheap may decline a refund request in the following cases:

  • The order was placed more than 30 calendar days ago.
  • The account has used more than 2 GB of traffic in total.
  • The refundable amount calculated under this policy is less than CNY 100 (or the equivalent in another currency).
  • The account has been suspended, restricted or banned for violating the VPNCheap Terms of Service.
  • The subscription was obtained through a free trial, gift, promotion, redemption code or any other free means.
  • The same plan is purchased again after an order was successfully refunded, or there are repeated refund requests, malicious refunds or other abuse of this policy.
  • The order was placed through the Apple App Store, Google Play or another third-party platform; such refunds are handled under that platform’s refund policy and process.
  • The service is affected, limited or unusable because of government policy changes, restrictions by internet service providers, regional network restrictions or blocking, changes by third-party services, force majeure (including but not limited to natural disasters, war and cyberattacks) or other factors beyond VPNCheap’s control.
  • A streaming platform, website, game, AI service or other third-party service cannot be accessed or unblocked because that service changed its access policy, detection mechanism, regional restrictions or VPN blocking.
  • The service cannot be used normally because of the user’s own device, network environment, internet service provider, firewall, DNS configuration, local system settings or other reasons not attributable to VPNCheap.
  • Problems caused by incorrect information entered by the user, including but not limited to the registration email address or payment details.
  • The request is made after the refund window in this policy for personal reasons, such as no longer needing the service or switching to another product.
  • There is a fraudulent transaction, stolen payment method, chargeback, unauthorized payment or other abnormal payment activity.
  • A refund is prohibited by law, or the payment institution or channel states that it cannot process the refund.

VPNCheap may review abnormal orders, suspected fraudulent transactions, malicious refunds and abuse of this policy, and decline the related refund requests to the extent permitted by law.

4. Processing Time

Refund requests are normally reviewed within 7–14 business days of receiving the complete request.

After approval, the time for the money to arrive depends on the payment method, the payment institution and the issuing bank; the actual processing time of those institutions applies.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, open a ticket in the app or email support@vpncheap.io with the following information:

  • Registration email address
  • Order number (if available)
  • Payment time
  • Reason for the refund (optional)

VPNCheap will review and process the request as soon as possible after receiving it and the necessary information.

6. After a Refund

Once a refund request is approved and the refund is completed, the subscription for that order ends.

Any remaining service period, remaining traffic and other unused benefits of the refunded order expire at the same time, and the user may no longer use the service under that order.

7. Changes to This Policy

VPNCheap reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to amend, supplement or adjust this refund policy. The latest version is published on the official VPNCheap website and takes effect on the date of publication. If laws, regulations or regulatory requirements change, VPNCheap will adjust this policy accordingly.
